Itinerary

Day 1 Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Transportation from Sarajevo Airport to the Hotel. Small tour of the Old town and dinner. Overnight stay in Sarajevo. Dinner or lunch included.

Day 2Sarajevo Old Town Tour

A panoramic view on Sarajevo valley is a great start for getting to know Bosnia. Sightseeing tour of the Old Town in Sarajevo-Baščaršija. Visit to the City Hall, Gazi Husrev-bey’s mosque, Emperor’s Mosque, Latin bridge and other historical places.

Free time for enjoying Sarajevo and the Old town. Overnight stay in Sarajevo.

Day 3Srebrenica Tour

In desire to really know, see and feel the unfortunate Bosnian Genocide, there is no better way but to visit Srebrenica.

You will learn about how Srebrenica sadly entered the history with the biggest genocide in Europe after the World War II. The Srebrenica genocide refers to the July 1995 killing of more than 8,000 Bosniak men and boys, as well as the ethnic cleansing of another 25,000-30,000 refugees, in and around the town of Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina, by units of the Army of RepublikaSrpska under the command of general RatkoMladic during the Bosnian war.

Visit to the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Complex which was grounded in May 2001 in memory of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide. In 2003 it was openned for the public by Bill Clinton. Unfortunately, twenty years after the massacre, bodies are still being recovered from mass grave sites.

We will visit the “memorial “, a specially designed museum in Potocari. You will have an opportunity to watch a short movie and see the personal items of the victims found in the mass graves such as: lighters, tobacco boxes, keys, photo albums and other personal items approach us the fate of men and boys in July 1995.

So, in a way, this tour can help to understand what Srebrenica is today, what it had been yesterday, and day before, but most of all what Srebrenica can become with all of us participating together. Overnight in Sarajevo.

Day 4Tunnel of Hope, Spring of river Bosnia, Bjelašnica, Igman

Visiting Tunnel of Hope (famous war tunnel). Real-time short video about the Siege of Sarajevo and Tunnel of Hope. The Spring of the river Bosnia is one of the country’s top natural landmarks and is one of the most famous scenes of natural beauty in the region.

Visit to the Olympic mountain Bjelašnica (2,067 m), where you will enjoy beautiful landscapes and fresh air. The mountain was the site of several of the most attractive alpine ski competitions during the 14th Winter Olympic Games in 1984. Possible lunch in one of the hotels.

The Igman Mountain (1,502 m) is located several minutes away from the Bjelašnica Mountain. The mountain is prized with beautiful hiking trails and exceptionally clean air. During the Winter Olympic Games, the Igman Mountain hosted Nordic events and ski jumping competitions.Overnight in Sarajevo.

Day 5Sarajevo – Konjic - Mostar, Tito’s underground nuclear bunker.

After breakfast departure to Herzegovina.

Refreshments at the six-arched Stone bridge built in 1682. Optional rafting trip on the Neretva river that will be highlight of your summer.

Visit toTito’s underground nuclear bunker near Konjic. In the early 1950s, Josip Broz Tito, the late leader of the former Yugoslavia, ordered the building of a secret bunker that would safeguard the country’s ruling class in case of a nuclear attach. Located 270 m underground, the 26-year project was only completed in 1979, the year before Tito ddied, and it was built at a ccost equivalent to just under $4.6 billion. If restocked with supplies it would still serve its purpose – allowing 350 people to live and work for six months without ever coming outside.

Day 6Herzegovina Tour (Počitelj – Kravice – Stolac)

Visit to the medieval town Počitelj, a unique place in Bosnia despite the many fortresses that are available. Poćitelj is a stone city that is still inhabited. Visit to the Kravice waterfalls. Free activities in Mostar.

Visit to the historical area – old town of Stolac, City Mosques (Sultan Selim mosque (1519), Water mills on river Bregava, Provalije waterfall – beautiful piece of natur on Bregava river.

After Stolac visiting River Buna with a view of historic Dervish House. Lunch in the restaurant „MLINICA“ on the side of river Buna in unique environment.

Day 7Dubrovnik tour - Croatia

After breakfast travel to Dubrovnik.
The whole region deals exclusively in tourism and it is the most highly regarded part of Croatia as Dubrovnik itself is on UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979.

The wonders of Dubrovnik attract tourists from all over the globe and it is no wonder Dubrovnik has been nick named The Pearl of the Adriatic.

Visit to the old town of Dubrovnik and enjoying walks along Stradun.
Possible dinner with the view of Adriatic sea.

Day 8Mostar City Tour - Blagaj

After breakfast, sightseeing of Mostar with all its beauties and famous tourist spots. Visit to the famous Old Bridge, one of top ten most beautiful bridges in the world. It was once compared with a ‘rainbow rising up to the Milky Way’ and was included in the United Nations list of worldwide cultural heritage. The Old Bridge stood for 427 years, until it was destroyed on 9 November 1993 by Croat forces during Bosnian War. The Old Bridge was completed in 2004, almost 11 years after its destruction, using some of its original pieces recovered from the Neretva river.During our tour, you will be able to attend the projection of the 15-minute film about Mostar.After Mostar, continuing to River Buna with a view of historic Dervish House. Lunch in the restaurant „MLINICA“ on the side of river Buna in unique environment. Afternoon dirve to Sarajevo.

Day 9Travnik and Jajce Tour

After breakfast, traveling to Jajce. Visit to hometown of Bosnian Kings and one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, Pliva waterfall, located in the center of the city. Visit to famous watermills and beautiful green natural surroundings. Possible dinner at Pliva Lake and enjoying traditional dishes with amazing natural sights.

Travnik, the city with strong oriental culture and perfect example of the period of Ottoman Empire. Visit to the place called Blue Water, near Travnik, beautiful site for sightseeing and traditional food, and visit to the Fortress of Travnik, most impressive fortress in central Bosnia and Herzegovina. Travel to Sarajevo for overnight stay.

Day 10Free activities before your flight

Day for yourself, to experience, explore and enjoy the city on your own way. Shopping in the most famous shopping malls in Sarajevo (Sarajevo City Center, BBI Shopping mall, Importanne Center etc.) Bargain with locals for unique souvenirs.
